Repeated friction, catching hook-and-loop fasteners, branches, or contact with hard objects may damage the fabric. In addition, knit fabrics have a tendency to shrink with repeated use and washing, and tumble-drying in particular should be avoided at all costs as significant shrinkage will occur.
